How large is A3?
In inches it is 11.7 by 16.5, in cm it is 29.7 by 42 and in mm it is 297 by 420.
How large are a3 frames relative to A4?
They are twice as large.
How large are they relative to A2?
They are half the size.
Is the A series standard across the world?
No it is not. The A series forms the international paper size and is used throughout most of the world. The major competing size is the North American size. The ‘ledger’ is similar in size to A3. The size of the ‘ledge’ is 279 mm by 432 mm.
There are other sizes used around the world but the A series and the North American are the most popular.
